Mountain Training Association:
The Mountain Training Association is the Support and Development branch of Mountain Training, providing members with extra support and CPD opportunities. It was created in 2005 to support people working towards their qualifications and develop people who already have them.
Now well established with over 5,500 members it is the nationally recognised membership organisation for climbing, walking and mountain leaders in the UK and Ireland.
Danny and Sarah are both members of the Mountain Training Association as are many of the other staff members who work and support the delivery of Inward Adventures courses and Adventures.
The British Mountaineering Council:
The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers, including skis-mountaineers. The BMC recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
Danny and Sarah are both members of the BMC as are many of the staff members who work and support the delivery of Inward Adventures courses and Adventures. Inward Adventures supports and uses the BMC's participation statement.
The Armed Forces Covenant:
To those who proudly protect our nation, who do so with honour, courage, and commitment, the Armed Forces Covenant is the nation’s commitment to you.
It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
Inward Adventures has signed the Armed Forces Covenant and continues to work to support serving members of the armed forces, as well as veterans and their families and dependants.
