Starting and ending in the historic village of Princetown this circular walk is no more than 10 miles and encompasses areas such as North Hessary Tor, Foggin Tor Quarry, Crazy well pool and South Hessary Tor. During the walk we can discuss the history and mythology of these amazing locations as well as look at some of the flora and fauna we encounter on our route.
The walk ends at a classic Dartmoor Pub so you may want to enjoy a refreshing drink or brilliant pub meal.

In order for you to enjoy your Adventure even more we ask you bring the follwong with you.
- A small rucksack.
- A waterproof jacket and trousers.
- A warm layer such as a fleace, jumper or jacket.
- A hat and gloves.
- A flask with a hot drink if you would like one.
- At least 1 liter of water.
- A camera if you wish to take any pictures.
Please ensure you wear clothing and footwear which is appropriate to the weather and for lowland walking on Dartmoor. The weather can be extreamly unforgiving and the terrain is undulating and uneven underfoot.

We ask that you park in the central carpark within Princetown, located just next to the visitos center. There is a small parking fee of £2.00. More information about parking can be found here.
